What time is drop-off?
Please have your child dropped off between 8:15 and 8:30 am each day.
Does my child need to wear their t-shirt and buff everyday?
Yes, please! We know that means more laundry for you, but it adds to the excitement of the week and adds to the adventure of the week!
How do I determine which group my child is in?
In your child’s t-shirt box, which was delivered on Sunday afternoon, there was a white 1/4 sheet of paper. That card has your child’s name, their color squad, and the team number on it. When you arrive on campus, follow the signs to the designated drop-off areas for the squads. That card is your pickup tag for the entire week! Save it or take a picture to show at pickup.
Can my child switch groups?
Unfortunately, we are unable to switch groups. But rest assured, we are confident that by the end of the week, they will have made new friends.
Can someone register on Monday?
Maybe? We do fill our spots pretty quickly. Feel free to call the church office to check availability. 626-335-4067
Can my child bring an extra snack?
No. We ask that you don’t bring extra snacks for the week of VBS. Each child will be provided a snack. We take food allergies very seriously and are a nut-free campus. We want to ensure the safety of all our campers.
My kid keeps talking about these wooden coins. What are they?
Every day, multiple times a day, your camper has an opportunity to receive a wooden coin. They are given away for saying the memory verse, wearing their t-shirt, showing camp spirit, having a good attitude, and in fact, they might be just lying around in the morning during check-in. They will be given all their wooden coins at the end of the week. On Sunday, July 14, come back to church and turn them in for raffle tickets. They get a raffle ticket for every coin they have. Raffle tickets will be pulled after each service.
What is the money from the penny wars going to be used for?
We are supporting the renovations to the children’s classrooms at Philadelphia Christina Church in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. A team of volunteers will be heading to Honduras on July 19 to update classrooms and purchase new furniture.
My child left their sweater and water bottle. Do you have a lost and found?
Yes, we do! If your child has left an item behind, you can visit the information window to retrieve it.
