The Pulse is the Junior High Ministry for 7th & 8th grade students at Grace Church of Glendora. Junior High students usually find themselves in a foreign place called adolescence and often don’t know what to make of it. It is also a place they first realize church attendance doesn’t equal faith. The Pulse aims to bring each student and their faith to spiritual life through teaching and encouraging Biblical truths.
Sunday Mornings are a time of meaningful worship and teaching. While the adults are in “big church” The Pulse offers a service specifically and intentionally designed for Junior High students.
Small Groups are the way The Pulse Ministry intentionally reaches every single student and is able to form them in their faith. It is also a very powerful time for students to feel part of their peer group (as each is assembled by gender and grade) and empowered to live for Christ by their courageous small group leader.
Connection nights are designed to let Junior highers be Junior highers while simultaneously providing an atmosphere for worship and social connection. The Pulse has fun at Connection nights and offers great opportunities to express that rambunctious activity with friends and leaders who care about them.
