Grace Yellow Pages
Here's an opportunity for us to serve and be served by each other. Did you ever need an electrician or car repair shop and wanted someone you could trust from your church family? Are you a regular attender of Grace and have a business that you want to
let your church community to know what you have to offer? The Grace Yellow Pages helps the church family network together.
Be A Friend
A member-led ministry of caring for the lonely, elderly, and shut-ins. Some ideas would be reading scripture, making phone calls, having lunch, praying, playing cards, and/or just spending time with them. If you are willing to commit yourself (short term, perhaps 6 months) to this new ministry of caring for people in need, please contact Mildred Peters at (626)331-3541 or at mhpetersmax@aol.com
Crisis Meals Ministry
Crisis Meals are provided when someone we know is in the midst of a trying time. This may be recognized as an illness, diagnosis of an illness, death of a loved one, the birth or adoption of an child, hospital stay, long illness etc. The list is not important – the needs are many. During a “Crisis Moment” often we come to the end of the day and suddenly realize that we have not eaten or have not planned dinner for our family and a new crisis begins.
Our small groups are very supportive of one another but sometimes a meal is needed in a hurry, or perhaps someone has need who is not yet connected to a group, and this is where our Crisis Meals Ministry steps in to assist. If you would like to volunteer, or need more information, please call Yvonne Marrero-Nanos at (626)665-5696.
